Canoeing & Kayaking

Canoeing and/or kayaking are possible on the Rivers Arda, Ossam, Stackevska and Struma during springtime. The quieter waters of the Danube River are particularly suitable for canoeing and kayaking.

Bulgaria offers a great variety of thrilling rivers, which in the spring and early summer are quite suitable for white-water canoeing. Besides there are several wonderful lakes in the southern part of Bulgaria – in the Rhodopes mountain – where anyone can take a canoe or kayak tour in a beautiful landscape. And what’s more the great variety on the Bulgarian coast invites visitors and tourists for a sea canoe tour.

Canoeing tours are possible in areas of natural beauty and furthermore: a trip along the beautiful and fascinating coastline of Bulgaria.

If you dream about canoeing on the Danube there are tours on the river any time during the summer. Canoe on the Danube is available from the beginning of May and until the end of September.

In the Rhodopes mountains there can be found several lakes suitable for canoeing. These lakes, which are surrounded by natural beauty are perfect place for a canoe tour.
